A Fetish Goth
There was always a fetish component to the Goth subculture, but some people like to step it up a notch. The entire type of Fetish Goth came about by people who liked wearing more leather and BDSM themed clothes. There are no specific music genres that appeal to the entire type, but generally anything fetish related is something they might like. (And there are many bands that write fairly interesting songs.) It's known that industrial and 80's new wave might be a little more kinky than other types of music. The Goth subculture isn't one to discriminate others' expressing of sexuality, so many times, there are events that will appeal to all types, including Fetish Goths. There may be a specific night dedicated to them at Goth clubs, as well.
However, just because people enjoy dressing in the Fetish theme, does NOT mean that they want to be touched or harassed, or that they're "asking" for anything. For some, Fetish Goth is just a style that they enjoy, and they may not even have a fetish at all. Not all Goths enjoy the Fetish theme either, and it's by no means a "requirement" in order to enjoy the subculture.
Most Fetish Goths will enjoy leather corsets and chokers, big boots, and PVC, a type of latex leather that has a glossy shine. Some will be lead on leashes by a partner, if they enjoy it. Fishnet is also a really common and easy-to-acquire part of a Goth's wardrobe that can be used for more than just the Fetish type. (I use it myself when I feel more Trad Goth, or even for my Romantic Goth styles.) If someone wants to indulge in the Fetish type, but they're under 18, then they can still achieve a very general feel of the style without making their parents angry by getting knee-high boots, chokers and fishnet leggings or sleeves.
Please keep in mind that wearing full on Fetish gear is dangerous out in the streets.

- You enjoy music or bands with a sexual theme in some of their songs
- You're comfortable with your sexuality
- You like shiny PVC clothes
- You have a strong fetish or like BDSM (completely optional)
- You enjoy feeling on the edge
These are just some of the things that could make Fetish Goth your thing. It's up to you to find out what you like and dislike, Remember, there are no rules as to what mold you have to fit in the Goth subculture. You could combine aspects from all different types and make it completely your own, or gravitate to one particular style that you really like. It's all up to you!
